Our College has best curricular and extra curricullar activities as per the NAAC, NCTE, and TNTEU guidelines

2. Teaching-Learning and Evaluation
We have qualified and experienced staff to teach. They spend time for research and teach future educators and leaders.

3. Research, Innovations and Extension
Special workshops/ seminars/ conferences are conducted periodically to encourage research mindset among the faculty and students

4. Infrastructure and Learning Resources
Our college has best infrastructure and all the necessary hi-tech facilities to teach and learn. Our library and labs are very good source to learn and practice.

5. Student Support and Progression
There are campus interviews to help students find job once they complete their degree. Skill development programmes give them hope for job and put them at better service for the society.

6. Governance, Leadership and Management
With a vision and mission to form best future educators and leaders the college is managed well by the Diocese of Tanjore Society. Correspondent, the Head of the college in collaboration with the staff strives to achieve this vision and mission. The IQAC in the college monitors the quality of the institution

7. Institutional Values and Best Practices
Our college inculcates best human values and ethics among the staff and students. 1. Our students are trained to conduct night schools in villages where students do not have opportunity to study at home with electricity. 2. Our college has adapted Munnayanpatty, a village near Thanjavur and cleaned the place along with the people and staged health awareness cultural programme. Distinctiveness: 1. Upliftment of women. Women from downtrodden section of the society are given quality training to come up in life through education. 2. Naturally healthy environment in a lush green campus.

John De Britto College of Education is one among many institutions of “The Diocese of Tanjore Society” the diocese of Tanjore (Thanjavur) was bifurcated from the Arch diocese of Chennai- Mylapore on 23rd November 1952, and was erected as a new diocese.
